Today five of the 25 people who were arrested Friday the 21st during the student protest will be tried in the Hague court in a "supersnerecht" (super fast justice) procedure. The supersnelrecht procedure means that the suspects only had 2 days in which to get a lawyer and prepare their cases.
I will try to attend at least one of the trials this afternoon in The Hague and hope to report about them here afterward.
If you also wish to attend, they are likely to start at 13:30 at The Hague courthouse (address: Prins Clauslaan 60, The Hague).
The public prosecutor's press release on the trials is here. Take note that the time reported in this press release has likely been changed to 13:30.
